“The success of yoga does not lie in the ability to perform postures but in how it positively changes the way we live our life and our relationships.” -T.K.V. Desikachar.

Yoga started for me with a DVD and a cheap sticky mat on my living room floor. It was nothing more than a means to getting my body into shape. Or so I thought. In the coming years the physical practice became a part of my routine. I used my now numerous DVDs until I knew every breath and word on them. A friend recommended I take a class at a local studio, and that was it. I was hooked.

Jump forward twenty years and I am a 200 hour registered yoga teacher, offering classes in various styles from Yin to Ashtanga to kids’ yoga. Yoga has become my life line. Somewhere along the way my focus broadened. My yoga was no longer a simple physical practice, but a lifestyle of kindness, meditation, and mindful living.

Sharing this love of yoga and peaceful living have become life goals. This website and blog are a part of that karmic yoga, my outreach to share with the world at large. My posts will focus on a yogic life, exploring the eight limbs of yoga, and living each day with joy and love in my heart.
